A comparison of Artisan By ut158 I already own a 5 Qt Mixer from "Artisan Series", but has decided to update this model so I could make larger batches of bread dough. In my recipe, is a single batch of 2 cups of flour. I've tried to approach a double min (4 cups) in my new Pro 600, but after about 15 minutes. Knead the engine just turned off. I thought I had it burned, but after consulting the manual, it seems, this is normal. Normal? Yes, that's what they said - everything I had to do was to wait until the engine is cool (it is also "normal" for them to get so hot it is uncomfortable to touch) for 30 min. and then try again. I find it hard to believe that this mixer can with 14 cups of bread flour to make the AP as packaging. That said, here are my thoughts on the mixer to "Artisan Series" mixer I already own: 1 The engine consumes more than 50% more power (and it is certainly louder) in 600 pro, but as converted into an extra pair, I'm not really sure what I know is that I have only one batch of bread once or mixer. 2nd As mentioned in other reviews, the Artisan mixer came with a "coating" paddle and dough hook, while the 600 Pro "brandished steel." This means that the craftsman implemented in the dishwasher, but not the Pro 600. I had assumed that these implements bright and shiny that I saw were stores on the screen, stainless steel, but I do not think so. If it were not for this problem and the exorbitant price, I would have given this mixer 5 stars. On the bright side ... 3rd I love the new spiral dough hook - it is much better than a C-shaped my 4 Artisan. The soft-start feature is a nice touch. Again, it would be even better if there is a speed lower than the lowest state. 5th The large bowl is good 6th There are more of a difference between the rates that the Artisan 7.10 Things I'd like to see change in the next iteration: - The gear I have a cordless drill with a high and low gear has to have. As you might expect, is lower for more power, more speed is high. Why not one of these mixers gear easily? That would be a great improvement - not just more power, but slower than I would, as stated in Section 4. - Stainless steel implements, as mentioned in point # 2 Conclusion: A good mixer, but this is my "Artisan". If you go to buy a new mixer (and an unlimited supply of money to play it), I would not recommend the Pro-600 - you get a series of Artisan time - it is much cheaper and does just as well a job. There are small advantages to the 600 Pro, but even all together, I do not think they have the added price is worth. 556 of 572 people found the following review helpful. Actually we have already implemented a change in the production of Pro 600 stand mixer with a metal gearbox Although these will be amended on other 5 qt bowl-lift models that include.
