Amazon.com Review These covers sit securely over the bowl of a 4-1/2-quart KitchenAid stand mixer, so you can store your mixer attachments in the bowl but keep them out of site. Use them, too, to cover cool-rise yeast doughs or leftover cookie batters, mashed potatoes, and more. These clear, lightweight lids make it easy to keep extras in the fridge. Dishwasher-safe, but only on the top rack. --Betsy Danheim

These covers fit tightly over the bowl to mix kepting what you fresh. You can also save anything in it as if it were a (spelling?) Tuperware element. I would like to have around them, because I use them! These are the bowl 4 1 / 2 quart and can go in the dishwasher! 16 of 16 people found this review helpful. use it to make butter from Camp David Just to clarify the description of the product - the opening in the middle of the lid is actually a cup like depression, and the fund is closed so that the lid closes the bowl. The cup is part of the head of blade mixer Nestle down so the mixer can sit at the head. We only had one bowl, so we cut the bottom of a lid and use it as a shield to keep slinging cream the butter when we do. Works great! 12 of 12 people found the following review functional by Stephanie Manley I love the cover to cover to fit very well. I've always had problems with plastic wrap or aluminum foil stick broken. I would recommend this if you need recipes for a little store before serving them. I also love the robustness of these limits, because it allows the flavors to blend when you put them in the fridge. See all 40 reviews ....
