I have a KitchenAid mixer in white. I love it, but it seems that the mixture of all. No more. I saw Alton Brown mixer in one night eats well on Google and found FlameKA.com. Then comparison shop - basically everybody is charging the same price. I got it, because it seemed different from the flames. Also, my husband is an amateur World War II and received a kick out of this set. These adhesives are very heavy and thick. Easy to use, and they will not come easily. The instructions are good, but it is so easy that does not need much in the way of instructions. Ships FlameKA fast and it's not a big bang for transport. I know it seems a lot of money to decorate in a blender, but I'll have this console for a very long time, the costs break at a monthly cost, or something you want to feel better, I spent a lot of money on the console, so why not a few bucks so special? 0 of 0 customers found this review helpful. FUN! We did this by netgyks now on our mixer for about a year, it still seems like new! When our fridge was delivered yesterday to check was one of the guys at the console. He said to wait, it's a special edition Kitchenaid, no, it's a sticker! Awesome! Yes, he's right, it's great for the hands down! 0 of 0 customers found this review helpful. Scouting fun for my mixer for this mother took some effort to walk about 10 minutes is easy. I gave it a 4 because it should be cheaper, and they need to have more choice designs. It has a little bit, where the clear outer layer has pulled out of the paint layer underneath delaminated, but now appears to be stable. It is NOT pulling out of the mixer. Maybe I need a new set (maybe the plane decal kit?) In a while to replace. It's expensive, but cheaper and much funnier than a silly, girly looks quilted cover. It all depends on if the mixer is in the family. This is mine. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. frustrated over what is a cool product by Lewis A. brand itself is well done, although I would be a little more guidance and tips to appreciate it in my Kitchenaid. I put it too close to the front curve, and it curled in front loose, so I tried it, and of course the glue does not work so well. So I bought a bottle of spray glue to fix the problem and should not have been quite slow peeling and ripped jagged tear it badly, so I stopped completely, and I resigned myself to leave the race to the bottom and edges of every day. I have 5 children and many other things to do, as we have just moved across the country, so I still have to carefully peel it off and fumbled to get my money back. I would like to try again, but I'm afraid if further damage is $ 20 + that I paid, and I prefer it to anyone. Sad, huh? It's worth the money b / c you can not find anything similar anywhere else in the flames, but if you want turtles or something similar to the white stickers you put windows in the car at Wal-Mart or wherever, you can get or the least they same prices. If you buy, go slowly and not trying to make the basket on the front if you plan well and overlap each other slowly. And some 'spray glue to strengthen it. Overall, I'll try again (when I have time), and call me my problems are impatient, but I support the need for better directions 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Work on water bottles, too, of A. Johnson, I was looking for a flame sticker for my Sigg water bottle and found that item. The size corresponds to a liter bottle of water perfectly. Housed in durable die-cast metal, this stand mixer features a powerful 1,000-watt motor that can handle the heaviest mixing tasks. Its extra-large, 7-quart, stainless-steel bowl accommodates big batches--even double or triple recipes. The unit also provides 12 mixing speeds, along with a 15-minute countdown timer and automatic shutoff, for maximum precision. The best customer feedback 176 of 177 people found this review helpful. Rather than make bread weekly using koffeemann For KitchenAid mixer and recently my Kitchenaid motor came after overheating. Although I prefer the looks of the Kitchenaid mixers (something more industrial of them), Cuisinart has addressed several of the main problems found in Kitchenaid mixers: not enough power, very large bowl-shaped timer, absent / minimal speed control. The stronger motor is crucial if you're mixing doughs for minutes at a time. The taller, more narrow bowl shape prevents spilling. The timer function is tremendously useful. And the full range of speeds (especially slow speeds) and smooth acceleration at any speed, again, prevent spills and allow for greater control. Other features I like: spill guard fits perfectly and is a piece (again, unlike my old Kitchenaid), lock function, the handle locks into place, so you never have to lift off the top and bottom swing out ; The smooth surface makes it easy to clean, easy to wash all attachments in the dishwasher a great product! 113 of 114 people found the following review helpful. Unexpected pleasure and performance by Robert Brian Lamm, I owned a pair of 5 Qt KitchenAid mixer, and even a Hobart Professional 5 Qt (45 pounds, three speed manual transmission). I was disappointed to hear (but never experienced) problems that users encounter KitchenAid changed the gearbox of metal on plastic (yes, the transfer, not their accounts). Why take the certainty that is currently displayed on the packaging as their mixer "all the Metal Gear" no problem with the gearbox lid. K'Aid to this question was never really clear to them enough for my taste, so my temptation to buy the KitchenAid 6 qt was muffled. I bought the Cuisinart 7 Quart, because I wanted the extra capacity - simple as that. I think his power is suitable for all tasks regardless of speed setting, "knows" the intensification of the slow speed (resulting in a cloud of flour and other ingredients with the possibility of spread to produce), something only possible with The advent of new electronic controls. The cockpit is deep and well designed. A word about power: Please do not Puchas blender because you believe that high power will translate into more power. This is simply not so. Power is a measure of the energy consumed by the mixer, not off as a couple (ability to trudge through heavy masses). A poorly designed engine will use lots of watts, but it will not give it to you in a higher power. This mixer is complete with 1000 watt power have - sounds like a lot, the point is that it is pulling its power, its power is sufficient for the tasks at hand. Way back when I had a qt KitchenAid 5, With 325 watts (watts sexy grown before). It also had sufficient power, the power of marketing as a meaningful number, people would "underpowered" mocks such a device. Silly, really. This mixer is well designed. It has a blend hours, a pulse button, both of which are of use. His line (for those of you who are interested) are as follows: a British brand Kenwood, marketed a quality 7 qt mixer, popular in Europe for many years but was never very popular in the U.S. market. It was sold to rivals and for a short time was made available under this brand are available. It was then sold to DeLong, who has changed a bit ", then was sold to the Cuisinart, which has made the most significant changes to the (controller deeper, better designed bowl, preferably with a timer and ramp function of speed) mixer is always good even even way back when he was a Kenwood. The design of this mixer, with its large capacity allows even the door to rotate, with a vengeance to clear out and away from the bowl, while the leader of the dough qt KitchenAid five six models are fixed and must be sure the bowl.

My grandmother has been using the same KitchenAid mixer since the late 50s and is still going strong. I was glad to KitchenAid "Ultra Power" this mixer receives about seven years ago, and it worked fine for occasional use. In the past two years, I do more and more cooking, and about one year ago I started making my own bread. After about six months use my KitchenAid to two pieces of wholemeal bread, kneading every week or so, he made a horrible grinding noise and stopped working. I decided I'd better have a new KitchenAid with a powerful engine to buy, and went online to see what was recommended. To my surprise, the reviews for the KitchenAid was not as positive as they were. People complained about a decline in quality and customer service. The biggest complaint was that some parts of the metal was replaced by plastic, and although it sounded as if it recently started to re-create the parts of the metal, people who give tips on how to determine if the model you buy is Metal or plastic gearboxes On top of that, Cook Illustrated rated the Cuisinart, KitchenAid mixer in the above revised March 1, 2008. I did more research and found that the guarantee was much better than the Cuisinart, KitchenAid. So nervous, I decided to change what I had always considered the best brand, and I bought the Cuisinart. My first impression was mixed. I immediately thought of what looked like the blender, but I was nervous about, because the body and mixing paddles are much lighter in weight than the KitchenAid. It lacks the solid, all-metal sense of KitchenAid. KitchenAid jitter across the counter when he was using to knead the bread and butter and beat sugar cookies, I thought the Cuisinart probably fly the counter decided to use it very difficult for six months, and then write my comment. I used every seven to ten days to two heavy loaves, wholemeal bread, many groups have made biscuits and cakes and I'm more happy to write that this is a great mixer. To my surprise, no jitter at all, even when I'm using it to knead bread. The ingredients are well mixed, and it is not necessary to scrape sides of bowl with spatula as many times as I needed with my KitchenAid. Kitchen counter space is limited, so keep the mixer in a closet, and lighter weight means it is much easier to move. In my experience, the lighter weight did not affect in any way the performance. Once, when I kneaded some serious dough at speed # 4 is about twice as long as the usual 7-8 minutes (I had forgotten to add salt to the bread, and tried to knead it in) has not overheated, and the mixer is turned on you that, and frankly, I'd rather that happen than to freeze the gears and completely destroy the transmission, as happened with my KitchenAid. Another is estimated that some clever person designed the bowl, it is easy to remove, even after I've used the mixer to knead dough. Dish on KitchenAid would be so tight lock after kneading bread I have to pry it free, usually skinning my knuckles in the process. Some reviewers complain that bread dough "climb" the dough hook, a mess. I think that the dough rises much less than they actually, when I was with my KitchenAid. One critic said that the fender is usually useless, but I like it - I find it really useful, unlike the clumsy wings in two pieces that came with my KitchenAid Timer is nice, especially now that I don 't need be in the mixer while mixing, worrying that it is going its way into the template.

KitchenAid KPS2CL Pouring Shield for 4-1/2 and 5-Quart Stand Mixers

One of the best features of a stand mixer is that you can add other ingredients while the mixing action is occuring. However, it can be a little tricky trying to get those eggs, or that sugar into the bowl, without getting in the way of a moving beater, or without ingredients sloshing outside the bowl. The answer to these difficulties is a pouring shield. The chute lets you add ingredients from a safe distance while the "collar" prevents splashes from wet ingredients and "puff" from dry ingredients.

I must say, I really think this thing is more trouble than its worth. My mother bought this for me, and it was rarely used. Somewhere along the line, they forgot, they gave me the first one and bought another. Thus, the oldest very lonely in the closet, the second holding of a company - still in the box. Here's why: First, is the shield in two sections, and they are not as easy to connect with each other. Now you might think, if they do not easily, at least they stayed together, right? Nope. Mines continue to grow apart. Well, if you get the nice bowl full, we say with a lot of double-chocolate chip cookie dough, forget it - the thing is completely unnecessary. Once the dough in the bowl trips, the sign is replaced, you make it to the door at the next window to throw. I like to keep flour from the kitchen as a whole, if you add it while the mixer is started - but it gets stuck in the little "ramp" in any event that makes you push it all with a rubber scraper would also be nice for something smooth and very sloppy. But all in all, I find it a waste of time and money. Luckily it was my mother's money, not mine. (By the way, she has one and loves it. I can not understand why just because it has the same complaints I do. You just have to wash a few dishes ...) If you want to spend money in a useful Kitchenaid accessories, buy an extra bowl - one with a handle and a set of covers. 77 of 78 people found this review helpful. useful, but sometimes in invonvenient Gaylin Walli pour Shield is a clear consolation on my blender, which makes it easier to add both wet and dry ingredients without stopping the mixing process and increase the beater, whisk and dough hook. I'd give four stars, but I only gave three stars because of shield some disadvantages listed below. I'm glad that came free with my console and I'd probably buy another if mine is damaged. For someone without a shield fighter, I would certainly recommend they consider buying it, but the following things in mind ... I found that if nothing else, be it bread or biscuits or whathaveyou, you should really consider adding cup absolutely no more than 1 / 2 (dry measure U.S.) of ingredients for the cup. Ideal if you add less to the bowl a couple of times. Every time I have the bread, when I try 1 / 2 cup flour or more to be added during the final stages of mixing, even the low speed results in two ingredients splattered up and under pouring shield Moreover severability handy pouring shield soon a problem if you are not careful. If you spray anything, I thought he sneezes directly to the hinges that are part of the small separate bootable pouring shield itself. Once your ingredients are the hinges are on the side of the bowl in your worksheet, and probably you. 62 of 64 people found the following review helpful. I do not know what I would do without these atmj Because this is a nice feature of this mixer. I use it with mashed potatoes and chocolate chip cookies. It is essential if you want the whip mashed potatoes and keep them in the bowl. Chocolate chip cookies with the dough is so thick, if you do not have that when you add the chips, which end up in orbit. I find it easy to store and easy to use ingredients ramp makes it useful for adding things on the fly. What would be better if this feature had an opening angle and was higher. I often had to push.

No two bowls, you have to take the time to the first one in your whip to pay a separate bowl, clean the bowl, KitchenAid, then whip the next ingredient.I often a few batches of bread at once. The separate bowl, mix the bread myself too much and leave them in the right amount allowed Kitchenaid bowls. Some cakes have a separate filling and icing. Two dishes that "if a piece of cake." The grip is especially good when the bowl is wet or greasy.I cook much. Extra-bowl, I worth the price. I'm buying another (third bowl) soon. 36 of 37 customers found this review helpful. This is a bowl of spare parts, what can I say? Ringo If you already have a KitchenAid mixer, you know what that looks like a bowl (unless you have a KitchenAid mixer, because you have for this?) If you are considering this report the bowl three shares quarters: three quarters nests in the original 4.5 cup that comes with the console, it does not work. It has a handle well, which is more important than you might think that when you touch the bowl outlet. If you plan to keep it, consider also the plastic cover for storage, also available on Amazon [. Com]. (They are ideally two to a package). 17 of 18 people found this review helpful. What could be more useful? Stephanie Manley During cooking, and a little 'lack of time outside the bowl can be so useful. I do my own use when I make biscuits, sometimes I do two at a time, and are in place. Or if I make a cake, and I will do everything at once and come back and frost the cake later, I hate to stop what I do to wash a bowl to use it again. If you cook a lot and you could be with limited time, this is a bargain for you. All 74 customer reviews ....

I see, after three months, the CI is spot-on. It is a kitchen tool of considerable size, and I used it at least once a week since I. Usually I bought bread mix, and by the same Clomp firmer ground (although he does not "hop" a little over pasta company). The powerful motor can handle everything I throw at. He also does a fantastic job in cream - much better structure than a hand mixer could do. I used to parachute cake and cream cheese, butter and blankets, herbs, and not only do not appear on this table may not be perfect to do it. It is not a food processor, so do not expect it to slice and dice or cut butter into cookie dough, but it fulfills its function perfectly. And 'heavy and important, and so easy to wash by hand, I have not bothered to put the components of the board 100% dishwasher. 26 of 30 people found this review helpful. Leak in the seal by Alan, I have had this mixer for 5 vyears and use from time to time. The seal on the shaft for oil leaks into the bowl of the mixer. KitchenAid says that is normal and should use the blender at least once a week to stop the leak. This is a bad solution for the problem! This mechanical seal needs to be reviewed. Being aware of this problem. This is a common problem. Check the Internet for additional comments. 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. My first stand mixer and I love it! Carol My mother-in-law gave me this mixer for Christmas. I read the negative reviews of this model if I was actually planning on how KSM150PSBK because it has an engine capacity greater. But I have this as a gift, then I'm not complaining! Since December I've been using for the cake and brownie and has been very good so far .. but these last few weeks I started with and pizza dough and the mixer has been wonderful! I turn it off from time to time, however, and push the dough down with a spatula so that the engine could only rest for a few seconds. It's like a vacuum cleaner when he left for several minutes straight, the engine will wear out quickly. I also made muffins with the shovel and the boy was fast! I turned my back for a few seconds to wash the dishes the couple and when I look at the pasta was done! This mixer brought my old love for cooking. I used to bake all the time at school, but when I went to college did not have time for it and when I got to work still had less overtime. But the mixer makes everything so much easier and faster, and clean up is a breeze! I take good care of, so I hope it will give me the last couple of years if not forever, I plan the next ice maker attachment! Kitchenaid love love! Please do not always outsource! Amazon.com Review KitchenAid's stand mixer is a substantial piece of equipment: 250 watts of mixing power make child's play of creaming butter, kneading dough, and whipping cream. The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough; the 4-1/2-quart bowl can hold up to 8 cups of flour, which translates into as many as 192 sweet treats. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. All three are solid in construction and easily secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist; untwisting them is a bit trickier because the attachment stems are short and can be hard to grasp, especially if they get the least bit greasy. The bowl itself locks tight to the base. Standing 14 inches high, jutting out a foot, and weighing more than a grown woman's bowling ball, this stand mixer isn't the sort of appliance you'll wipe down and put away. This mixer will change the way you cook with RD Unlike many of the reviewers, I only had this mixer for about a year and this particular model, 4.5-Quart Mixer 250W (bottom line Kitchenaid). It is a really crazy when we bought, but it turned out to be worth it.Before the Kitchenaid, I have not done much cooking. I have a tendency towards more "manly" cooking techniques: the hotter the fire, the spicier recipe, the better for me. But this machine is just as satisfying to use as any instrument of power in the garage - there's something about using the right tool for the job *, and found no activity that you could consider using a mixer to no Kitchenaid 't excel. But it is especially good for cooking, and when you start using it, you will have your furnace is running a lot more than you've used to.T The big difference between this mixer and the standard "two drummers' styles that you may know, is that there is only one plant that has the combination of two movements, he will not only rotates around its axis is used, it is rotated the edge of this shell is an extremely effective blend of ingredients, without the need of the rotating drum, as the movement of the mixture covers the entire dish. For most mixing tasks, we must not scrape sides with a spatula. IE: if it is mixed, you can ignore it and have called on other stuff. The first Annex I, the dough hook, which is a blessing for kneading. In recent days I have pizza dough, bagels and wholemeal bread. Although this makes the least powerful machine kneads the dough Kitchenaid it hard (like the aforementioned bagels with the high gluten flour), your mother turn the Mixmaster fried in a smoking, stinking pile of engine components. Kneading takes a * lot * of effort and variability of the production of bread .. never flour "dough" too much to prevent sticking to hands, and usually spend 20 minutes working the dough into 10 minutes, you can use to clean the two pieces are attached kitchen. The the paddle and the lash . The range is the drummer for all-purpose "workhorse", and it works very well to mix the butter and sugar, mixing cookie dough or cake batter, or any other general purpose mixing jobs. With the orbital motion, you get to the edge of the tub, so it's actually scratch how it goes. The whip is ideal for egg whites, then whipped cream. I am sure that is good for something else, but that's what I used for.As capacity, 4.5 quarts model is suitable for almost all "normal" recipes at home. This is a "standard mixer." It will be easy enough to knead the dough for both the two loaves of bread, or a mixture of a lot of double cookies.A As regards the negative: it is difficult that you will not be moved once it is in place. If you knead the dough very hard, sometimes the pot is pushed to the extent that it is very difficult to remove from the base. Okay if you remember to leave some slack in advance, but I always forget and I end up fighting with the machine out. The metal band on the mixer cut just above the cup has come loose on my model, the machine has some heat after a heavy kneading, and I think it has some soft glue. It is held in place and something else, but sometimes it slips when I clean the machine. It is purely cosmetic, I can tell, and the only thing that feels cheap in any way on this machine. Apart from that, frankly, have not had a single complaint. In summary: it is expensive mixer, but is well worth it. A comparison of Artisan By ut158 I already own a 5 Qt Mixer from "Artisan Series", but has decided to update this model so I could make larger batches of bread dough. In my recipe, is a single batch of 2 cups of flour. I've tried to approach a double min (4 cups) in my new Pro 600, but after about 15 minutes. Knead the engine just turned off. I thought I had it burned, but after consulting the manual, it seems, this is normal. Normal? Yes, that's what they said - everything I had to do was to wait until the engine is cool (it is also "normal" for them to get so hot it is uncomfortable to touch) for 30 min. and then try again. I find it hard to believe that this mixer can with 14 cups of bread flour to make the AP as packaging. That said, here are my thoughts on the mixer to "Artisan Series" mixer I already own: 1 The engine consumes more than 50% more power (and it is certainly louder) in 600 pro, but as converted into an extra pair, I'm not really sure what I know is that I have only one batch of bread once or mixer. 2nd As mentioned in other reviews, the Artisan mixer came with a "coating" paddle and dough hook, while the 600 Pro "brandished steel." This means that the craftsman implemented in the dishwasher, but not the Pro 600. I had assumed that these implements bright and shiny that I saw were stores on the screen, stainless steel, but I do not think so. If it were not for this problem and the exorbitant price, I would have given this mixer 5 stars. On the bright side ... 3rd I love the new spiral dough hook - it is much better than a C-shaped my 4 Artisan. The soft-start feature is a nice touch. Again, it would be even better if there is a speed lower than the lowest state. 5th The large bowl is good 6th There are more of a difference between the rates that the Artisan 7.10 Things I'd like to see change in the next iteration: - The gear I have a cordless drill with a high and low gear has to have. As you might expect, is lower for more power, more speed is high. Why not one of these mixers gear easily? That would be a great improvement - not just more power, but slower than I would, as stated in Section 4. - Stainless steel implements, as mentioned in point # 2 Conclusion: A good mixer, but this is my "Artisan". If you go to buy a new mixer (and an unlimited supply of money to play it), I would not recommend the Pro-600 - you get a series of Artisan time - it is much cheaper and does just as well a job. There are small advantages to the 600 Pro, but even all together, I do not think they have the added price is worth. 556 of 572 people found the following review helpful. Better to find a square foot of free counter space for easy access; besides, this machine is as pretty as it is rugged--you'll want to show it off. --Betsy Danheim Editor's note: With every purchase of this KitchenAid pink stand mixer, inspired by the pink ribbon symbolizing breast-cancer awareness, KitchenAid will make a $50 donation to the Komen Foundation. The mixer lift is much better than the mixer-style stand that will consume the stand mixer bowl and tends to jump. I used to work together with a mixer-style stand, and I had to put all my weight on my forehead while I was bowl to keep the thing flying in the kitchen! The engine is super strong and I am very satisfied. Since I started doing everything we eat from scratch is nice to have this mixer great for saving me work hand mixing stiff dough, and so on. I noticed other people had problems with it. One person wrote that the bowl does not remain in place at all, must be broken in, if you look away from the mixer will see a metal rail that slides down into the bowl, the bowl where it meets the mixer is a core of metal, where it is supposed to snap She also said that the attachments in the dishwasher and they changed color The instructions say hand wash only! It was an absolute pleasure just opening the box came in. She came as the retailer and the brand new shiny red out. I look forward to years of use every day and I admire it in my kitchen! 22 of 23 people found the following review helpful. Not like the old, made the Hobart, but still high by PJM my 500 Pro, I use it for pizza dough at least twice a week to make, plus all those we love baking. Never a problem. Grind a little bit and makes noises that my old Kitchenaid Hobart never been built, but that's what you get when the current owner of Whirlpool rides on the reputation of age, instead of keeping it. Whirlpool KitchenAid mixer built no new quality or will never be anywhere near the life of the old Hobart-built ones. This is a fact. But they are still the best for the money, especially if you're too smart to pay retail. As far as "plastic" gears to go, this was in Kitchenaid mixer for many decades, has done nothing to do with your loved ones. There is only one non-metal speed, it is nylon, not plastic. Its purpose is designed to strip and not the whole problem is that instead of connecting to the motor and ruin. Without a nylon gear from a spoon into the blender would destroy the engine within seconds. Would you rather replace the engine or gearbox something? 16 of 18 customers found this review helpful. My first KitchenAid ML Fischer is a disappointment I purchased this machine last week and it arrived today. I have a batch of cookies on the bench and was a little disappointed. I knew if I ordered it, that does not tilt the head, but I did not know how it would be difficult to give the dish and to get ingredients. The slide of the flour is just a little, because the head and covers most of the bowl, it hard for me to add the flour, found. After three cups of flour, the engine started vibrating and the machine was grinding all over the counter I really had to hold it in place. Just let it mix for a minute or two. Once the mixture is done, he had to remove the mixer, which was completely covered with dough, the fight with him trying to get the mass finally abandon and remove the bowl with the mixer inside. After cleaning the blender, I still had to mix a little with the hand as the mixer does not reach the edges and bottom of the container. Overall, I think you may have a lemon with the machine had difficulty with a small amount of cookie dough. I understand that most people love these machines, so I'm willing to admit that I personally can not live up to their usual standards. I am sending this back but I'll try another KitchenAid. Mixer can not be the day my grandmother, but I still see consistently get higher ratings than other brands.

Amazon.com Review Thirty percent more powerful than KitchenAid’s previous 5-quart stand mixers, this professional model efficiently tackles heavy loads with its 450-watt motor, direct-drive all-steel gear transmission, and bowl-lift lever that effortlessly raises heavy ingredients up to the beater. KitchenAid stand mixers, constructed of durable die-cast metal, come in a variety of colors and styles that have become American classics. With a choice of ten speeds and three attachments--flat beater, spiral dough hook, and stainless-steel wire whip--the mixer handles everything from egg whites to meat loaf to pizza dough. Rather than rotating the bowl, KitchenAid stand mixers feature a fixed bowl with a unique mixing action: the beater spins clockwise as the shaft spins counter-clockwise, thus projecting the beater to 67 different points inside the 5-quart stainless-steel bowl. In deference to its power, the Soft-Start feature prevents splashing and flour clouds by gearing up to each speed gradually; then the electronic speed sensor kicks in to maintain a constant speed even when mixing the thickest batter. The bowl features a handle as well as two pins that hook into the lifting mechanism, which consists of a solid metal arm the same color as the mixer and a stainless-steel lever. A hinged attachment hub makes changing attachments easy. For safety, the mixer shuts down if an object obstructs the mixing process or if overloading occurs. The bowl, beater, and dough hook are dishwasher-safe. Assembled in Ohio, the mixer measures 16-1/2 by 12 by 14 inches and is backed by a hassle-free, one-year warranty. --Ann Bieri What’s In the Box Stand mixer; 5-quart stainless-steel bowl; flat beater; spiral dough hook; wire whip.

The best feedback from customers 186 of 188 people found the following review helpful. It's sad if you love a machine? By J. Sheriff, I got this mix as a gift, and honestly, is so great that I almost feel guilty that I use every day. I've heard good things about the reliability of the mixer Kitchen Aid, and this is much more powerful than it really needs to be done. One thing particularly good feature is the slow start - I do a lot of batter and cover and it is good to prevent the flour from all over the cabinets after each round of mixing. Mix very well, although it was initially suspected from the plate does not rotate. You have to stop and scrape the bowl, as with any mixer. The machine is also very quiet - no less noise than the microwave does. I like the fact that the bowl and white accessories are dishwasher safe too. It can be trivial, but I also like the styling of the larger bowl that standard with this model comes instead of the narrower, the first thought with Artisan, I bowl-lift, be what comes to using unpleasant when I "m for tilt-head stand mixers. The bowl has two tabs with holes that fit on both sides of the console's core, plus a metal in a slot on the back. When these three points are secure, turn the handle in bowl lift position for mixing, and it is very stable, I have only found two minor inconveniences with this machine First, it is quite large, so it can not be on the counter under my cabinets -.. I need back and forth from another shelf to use it, and it is hard. Second, when you are done mixing and lower the bowl, it's hard to scrape all this stuff out of the club because you are not a good angle. So you need to solve the club, and dropped it into the bowl and the bowl away when the mixer is all you can scrape out. Thinner stuff like cake batter would not be a problem, but for mashed potatoes or ice, a lot of things are left to the drummer It's no big deal - just another thing that s' can be used to flip it to a mixing head. I have the cobalt blue model, and I hesitated because I might be too "strong" meant, but it's nice, and I am so happy that I am one. I am not a professional baker, but I use my blender often, and I'm looking forward to something that looks good and works so well have. 164 of 177 customers this review helpful. Great warranty, fair product by Rollin Oswald on the positive side: The mixer "seems" (see below) do well. The fit and finish of external parts is very good. If fixed firmly tightened, the tightening nob that holds excessories as a grinder (which works) there is no longer in the bowl, while somewhat mixed. Kitchenaid has an exceptional warrangy. Just call Kitchenaid, explain the problem and send a new mixer and prepaid labels to return the mixer defectve Definitely keep the mixer window comes in. On the negative side: Mine is the third KV25GOXCV I had after the return of a procedural model with a smaller engine. All were returned because the sound from the mixer suggested that the tools were self-destruction. All sounds irregular correction, especially when they operate on mid-range speeds. This indicates that the gears were poorly machined and were wearing badly and not fast. (The gearing in my last position Kitchenaid mixer lasted 15 years before he had to be rebuilt after the mixer given to my son who is still using.) My present mixer makes the same sound transmission concern, but after having been three other sounds that have done the same, I concluded that Kitchenaid can not do better. When mixing doughs approaching the mixer's maximum capacity, the dough rises to the dough hook and must be pulled down before mixing can again proceed normally should be done every 30 seconds or more. Do not plan to mix the dough recipe that all rigid old.

My kids just love to mix the dough through the glass. (Previously I had to have removed peer into the bowl during mixing.) I did not adjust the height of my impact bar (though the manual says, you can be like that). So I can switch from my stainless steel bowl on my glass bowl, without any hassle. The only negative thing I can think of is that this bowl is heavier than the steel shell, and I had wrist injuries. Nevertheless, I still can use it easy to bake and I love it! A wonderful appliance - good customer support from Kathleen mixing my wedding present (a Sunbeam mixmaster) turned 33 a week before Christmas, and my husband thought it was time for me to have a new one. I give myself for Christmas with the KitchenAid 5 Qt. Artisan in white. I love this mixer and leave on my counter, something I never did with mixmaster. I recently bought the juicer attachment from Amazon and am very pleased with it as well. I have not read all 109 previous reviews on this site, but I read some who were dissatisfied because their builders did not mix well. I originally had the same problem with the beater / bowl games. It is very easy to remedy. There is a beater adjustment screw on the mixer and the manual describes how to make adjustments. I got even better instructions by calling customer support at KitchenAid. The coach told me to drop a coin in the empty pot, turn the mixer (on the set of two) using the flat beater, and that should move the dime 1 / 4 "to 1 / 2" each time It revolves around the basin is the right game for the player to mix in the bottom of the bowl, but not low enough to wear on the beater constant friction with the bottom of the bowl during use. I tweaked the screw setting 1 / 4 turn each time until I need to change cents. With this configuration I can now beat egg whites in a 5 qt. bowl. That is impressive. The mixer is as sturdy as a tank, and you can hear the quality as a blend. Although I had already bought a KitchenAid mixer for my daughter as a gift, I would have never splurged on one for me.
